Some publisher platforms and our proxy server have timeout limits that are set in place for security measures.  This is to prevent accounts from being compromised and block access from individuals not affiliated with Oakland University.  If you remain idle (i.e., not actively using a database) for a set period of time (generally 30 minutes), your authentication session may be terminated.  At this point you will have to go back to the OU website to access the resource again.

If you continue to receive an error message when trying to access the resource, you may want to clear your cookies/cache, close your browser, or try another browser.  Sometimes the timeout session can be stored in your history or cookies for a short time period and prevent you from logging back in.
