Once you’ve completed each lesson in the micro-course, you will earn the Primary Sources in the Humanities credential, which you can share with your professors.

The lessons in this micro-course address:

  • What primary and secondary sources in the Humanities are;
  • How you can get started in your efforts to find primary sources;
  • How you can use web portals and search engines (like Google) to search for archival materials;
  • How you can explore digital archives; and
  • How you can use the Libraries' Library OneSearch tool to find primary sources.

You can also view any of these lessons at any time, for personal, professional, or academic purposes.

This micro-course takes about 40 minutes to complete. Click this link to enter the microcourse.
