If you’re conducting film research, a great place to start is to check out the list of databases by filtering by Audio/Visual. These databases are curated to include not only audiovisual materials (like videos and films), but also scholarly research and commentaries about film and film studies.

If you're looking for a particular film or video that you'd like to access through the library, you can type the title into Library OneSearch and select the "videos" option from the Source Type filter at the top of the results page (red box). This will curate a list of videos-only sources, and access options will be listed in each item's catalog record.

Need to watch a film for your course, or just looking for a weekend movie? We’ve got a lesser-known video room. You can see if we have the movie you are looking for either by searching the library catalog - items available on DVD will be indicated with a call number (red box) - or by contacting the Research Help Desk. Ask at the Service Desk to check out the DVD for 48 hours!
