How can I request an article from the Oakland Press?

Answer

OU Libraries has the archives of the Oakland Press (formerly the Pontiac Press), which are available through Archives and Special Collections. This includes items published from 1885 to 2007, which are available in microfilm format.

Please fill out a request form for assistance with reviewing and/or accessing these items. For information on searching this collection online, click here to review some search tips.

In addition to the broader scope of our physical holdings, OU Libraries has digitized a portion of the Pontiac Press, spanning August 17, 1953 to December 31, 1969. This content is available for searching online through the repository OUR@Oakland. Click here to review the collection.
